Warmth without bulk; the perfect combination
Our PrimaLoft Collection provides The Ultimate Insulation This Winter
As the seasons turn and temperatures begin to tumble, warmth becomes a key issue out on the course for golfers as they seek effective, yet stylish, answers to that age-old golfer’s paradox of heat retention without the added bulk than can seriously hamper their freedom to swing.
That extra warmth has invariably required bulky or heavy designs and fabrics in the past, but years of intensive research and development have led OJ Sport to the wonders of PrimaLoft ®, an ultralight yet extra warm padding material that delivers the warmth golfers seek without adding unwanted bulk and weight.
The success of the Mulligan and Manny jackets in recent years has prompted OJ Sport to extend its PrimaLoft ® offering for Autumn/Winter 2015. Mulligan and Manny remain in the range, the former a full-zip jacket crafted from an ultralight woven fabric with high mechanical stretch; the latter a half-zip anorak tailored from the same 100% polyamide microfiber. Both are ideal for those days when wind chill is a major factor, and both are now available in three colours.
They are now joined by Marcel, a sleeveless gilet or vest that’s perfect for those sunny but decidedly chilly winter days when retaining core body warmth is essential, and Philip, a long-sleeved shirt that shares the same fabric technology and has been created primarily to wear off-course for true devotees of the PrimaLoft ® look and feel.
All OJ Sport’s PrimaLoft ® garments feature a ‘dry touch’ coating on the inside and a rib-stop surface to give them a ‘technical’ look that perfectly matches their performance credentials.
A thermal insulation material that out-performs all other competitive synthetic insulation materials because it is better at sealing in your body heat in bot wet and dry conditions.
PrimaLoft fibres are specially treated with a proprietary finish that prevents them from absorbing moisture and keeps the fibres very dry in wet conditions, which is essential for staying warm when wet. The material also mimics the softness and compressibility of down.
